Additional Details

A privately printed account of a summer vacation trip taken by Thomas Edison, naturalist John Burroughs, and tire magnate Harvey Firestone on a 1115-mile automobile journey from Orange, NJ through upstate New York and Vermont. Some of the text is credited to Burroughs, and most is anonymous narrative verse; Burroughs was apparently responsible for designing and producing the book.
